Boy Belly Bands

Stop the puddles from scent markers, light incontinence and aroused males when females are in season!

What is a Belly Band?

Belly Bands are used on male dogs to prevent them urinating when indoors. When urine is passed, instead of it flowing freely onto any surface, the band – (with a sanitary pad placed onto the Belly Band) absorbs the urine completely thereby preventing any urine stain or damaging your furniture, carpets or any other items inside your house.

When to Use a Belly Band:

Belly Bands are used for our Senior babies who are suffering with incontinence or anxiety dribbles/drips. However young dogs can also suffer from incontinence or leakage.

There are other reasons for using Belly Bands. For example when visiting or staying over at family or friend's homes with your babies. Your babies may be perfect little gentlemen when in their own home environment, however, at another person's home, there are many new smells and so many opportunities to mark the new territory. This is the time when a Belly Band would come in very handy.

Belly Bands should not be worn when your babies are outside, but only when inside the house. You will feel safe in the knowledge that your babies have caused no accidents in another person's house and your friends/family members will be happy not to have to clean up any little accidents.

Belly Bands can also be used to assist in the prevention of male dogs trying to mate with female dogs who are in heat.

NOTE:   Belly Bands should NEVER be used in place of Toilet Training and should NEVER be used as a replacement for teaching your puppy to wee outside or on a Pee Pad. Keeping a band on your new puppy will not teach him that he must go outside, or to a particular place in the house on a special toilet pad, when he needs to go to the toilet to relieve himself.

How to Use your boy's Belly Band:

Open your Band completely and lay it flat with the lining facing up towards you. Simply place an adhesive sanitary napkin on the Band's lining. Place the Band around the male dogs lower back and close the velcro tabs together. The napkin will catch the small drops or flow of urine saving your furniture, house and possibly even your relationship/marriage. Once the pad is full, simply peel the pad off, dispose of it, and then replace it with a new one.

How to measure my dog for a Belly Band

How to measure my dog  for a Belly Band:

Simply use a tape measure to estimate what size Belly Band your boy will need.

Measure around his tummy towards the back legs. Place the tape over his penis, then run the tape up over his back and back down to his penis again. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tight. We need the Band to sit firm around his body so as to prevent any urine leakage.

The diagram below shows you where to take the measurement on your male dog.

Firmly measure the circumference around your boy’s tummy in front of rear legs so that the Band will cover his penis. A firm measurement but not too tight.
